Boeing pulls US Stock Exchanges down after new 737 MAX controversy

Shares in Boeing and Johnson & Johnson led the S&P 500 and Dow on Friday.

The Dow closed down 0,95% to 26.770,20 points, while the S&P 500 fell 0,39% to 2.986,20 points and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 0,83% to 8.089,54 points.

Boeing lost 6,8% after Reuters reports that messages between two employees suggest that the planemaker may have misled the US Federal Aviation istration (FAA) about the safety of the 737 MAX jet.

Boeing (BA) shares closed at $344.
