The National Union of Aeronauts (SNA) sent a letter to the Procon of São Paulo requesting measures regarding the difficulty of access by crew participating in the LoungeKey program to airport VIP lounges.
According to the aeronauts, even presenting airfare and a credit card participating in the program, they are prevented from accessing the space in uniform, due to a recent change in the policy for using the program.
The SNA points out that this prohibition constitutes clear discrimination against the category, since the aeronauts would be traveling as a enger, and not as an airline crew member, thus having all the necessary documentation to enter the VIP room.
Loungekey was officiated, but did not respond to questions from the SNA and, in light of this, the union called Procon.
