Last Friday (01/09) Avantto received students and the organizing committee of the USP Aeronautical Engineering Week – São Carlos, the largest forum for discussion of aeronautical engineering in Brazil.
The event was marked by several activities, such as lectures and short courses, in addition to technical visits to companies. SEA emerged due to the demand of the students themselves and aims to complement the training of future engineers, promoting closer ties with the industry.
During the visit, Sérgio Webber, Vice President of Operations and Finance at Avantto, together with the leaders of the DHO, Maintenance, Purchasing and Supplies, Marketing and Flight Coordination areas, welcomed the students and shared their experiences and how the entire customer journey works. within the company.
Two interns who were recently hired shared their experience at Avantto (selection process and mentoring during the program) and three engineers, Cecília Watanabe, Head of Purchasing and Supplies, Marco Leme, Head of Projects, and Luis Daud, Head of Maintenance, talked about engineering training, challenges and professional careers.
According to Marco Leme, it is very gratifying to be in with the new generations of engineers. The ability to solve complex challenges not only drives the development of more efficient products and processes, but also feeds a culture of continuous innovation, fundamental to the success of organizations today.
Finally, the students visited the structure of the operational base of Asa Rotativa, HBR Aviação, located in Osasco, where they could see up close the helicopters of the fleet, aircraft maintenance and painting hangars, pilot rooms and all its structure, always focusing on in the customer experience.
