Three USAF bomber models will perform a flyby during the Super Bowl

The USAF will conduct a flight with its three model bombers (B-2, B-1B Lancer and the B-52) during the Super Bowl sporting event, the event will take place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, on 7 February

The announcement was made this Monday (25/01), the aircraft involved will be a B-1B Lancer from Ellsworth Air Force Base, SD; a B-2A Spirit from Whiteman AFB, Missouri, and a B-52H Stratofortress from Minot AFB, ND.

The age of large aircraft will take place during the execution of the country's national anthem.

“The aircraft will take off from their respective bases, for the flyby, after which they will return to their bases, demonstrating the flexibility of Air Force Global Strike Command bombers and their ability to deploy anywhere in the world from the mainland USA”, said the USAF.
