ANA currently has two daily flights between Narita and Honolulu. As of May 24, one of the flights will be served by the A380 on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. So, from July 1st, the second A380 will start operating, and the A380 will be responsible for serving a daily frequency. The third A380 in the fleet will serve the second daily frequency on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The aircraft was assembled in Toulouse, , where it also carried out its flight tests, then it was transferred to Hamburg, where Airbus installed the interior and carried out the painting.

The Airbus team took 21 days to paint a surface of 3600m2, using 16 different shades of color.

ANA's order for the A380 was placed in 2016, in total the Japanese company ordered three aircraft of this model. She is the 15th operator of the A380.

The interior of ANA's A380 will have capacity for 520 engers, a market standard number but higher than that found in many companies that use the A380, even in Asia. In all, there will be 8 seats in First Class, 56 in Business, 73 in Economy and 383 in Economy, which is entirely located on the lower deck of the A380.

As comfort items, ANA will have bars on its A380, just like Emirates and LED lighting, with an almost infinite number of colors to improve the enger's perception on board.

In Economy, the highlight is the sofa seat option, already used by Azul in its A330-200, there are 60 rows located in the middle with this option. The sofa-seat is able to turn into a bed, by raising the legrests, and thus allowing two people to lie down in the space. In the image below, the sofa seat is marked in blue.

On the main deck we have the presence of a place where new mothers can take care of their babies, in the aft part of the first floor.

In First Class, we have private compartments and seats that recline 180º.

First class

In Executive Class, we have seats similar to the standard in the market, with good reclining (although not 180º) and with an entertainment system similar to Economy.

Executive class

Economy Class has seats with different colors compared to traditional Economy and seems to be more comfortable overall compared to the lower class, mainly due to the 2-3-2 seating configuration.

ADVERTISING

All classes are equipped with the Zodiac Rave entertainment system, which is customized for the routes between Tokyo and Honolulu, Hawaii, which the aircraft will be tasked with flying.
