Embraer announced the sale of another 19 EMB-203 Ipanema agricultural aircraft in February, increasing the total number of aircraft of the model sold in 27 to 2021 alone.
This sales volume in the first two months is already 8% higher than what was traded throughout 2020.
The second consecutive month of high sales reflects the favorable performance of Brazilian agribusiness and the technological innovations incorporated in the new version of the aircraft.
The highlight in the period was the aeroagricultural companies that provide specialized aerial spraying services.
Although the demand for Ipanema continues to be more intense in the Midwest, the main agricultural center in Brazil, the This year's sales pace has also been rising in other regions.

With nearly 1.500 units delivered, Ipanema leads the agricultural segment with a 60% share of the domestic market.
The Ipanema 203, the most current model in the series, features improvements such as replacing parts of the wing with new ones with new geometry and more resistant stainless steel material.
This solution further postpones any wear generated by the severe natural condition of the operation in the field and maintenance expenses over the years. The new aerial sprayer also has a new design on the engine hood, with new air outlet grilles, ensuring greater cooling.
