A Boeing 757-200F registration HP-2010DAE operated by DHL (Aero Expreso) broke in two after leaving the runway. The accident occurred at San Jose International Airport (SJO) in Costa Rica. The aircraft was on flight D07216 to La Aurora International Airport, in Guatemala (GUA).
Videos that are circulating on social networks, it is possible to see in detail the moment when one of the aircraft's landing gear tires bursts, as well as the aircraft ends up losing control of the taxi and falling into a small ravine near the runway.
According to the Fire Department, a few minutes after taking off for Guatemala, the crew identified hydraulic problems in the landing gear of the aircraft returning to the airport of origin. At the time of the accident, there were two people on board, the pilot and the co-pilot.

Before landing, the aircraft performed the orbit procedure for about an hour in the vicinity of the San Jose airport. Security teams and firefighters were waiting for the aircraft to carry out rescue procedures.
After the spin as a result of the lack of control, the aircraft ended up having part of its rear fuselage collapsed. According to local media, there are no reports of deaths or injuries.
