The event, which has been held since 2015 by Inframerica, which manages the air terminal, fosters a ion for aviation and the hobby of spotting, which consists of observing and photographing planes. The concessionaire was a pioneer in holding the event in Brazil.

This year, Spotter Day celebrates the return of the traditional event that did not happen in the last two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic and celebrates the 10th anniversary of Inframerica and the Brazilian Association of Airlines (ABEAR).

There were more than 500 entries. Of these, 150 people were selected, including professional and amateur photographers, who will have the opportunity to stay less than 300 meters from the landing and takeoff runway. A privileged view of the planes! 25 participants are from outside Brasília, the vast majority from Goiânia, Anápolis, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

To promote an even more special edition to participants, Infrarica sought partners for Spotter Day. The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), airlines Latam, Gol, Azul, Aerolíneas Argentinas, Starbucks, Pizzeria Dom Bosco, Dunkin Donuts, Padaria Vitória, Chilli Beans, The Plane Spotting and Dumont Coffee are ing the event.

At the end of the event, participants will be able to send their best photo clicked at the event to compete for a national ticket with the right to a companion sponsored by ABEAR.

Coverage of the event will be carried out by the social networks of Brasília Airport (@aeroportobsb). The 2022 event promises to be unforgettable!
