GOL Linhas Aéreas decided to postpone its flights to Santiago, Chile, and Lima, Peru. The two routes have been suspended since the beginning of the pandemic, and now the forecast is to resume these flights only in 2023.
The company has even started selling flights to Santiago and Lima, and customers who have already purchased airline tickets can request a refund or change their tickets directly with GOL or the travel agency of their choice.
Previously to GOL hoped to resume the São Paulo (Guarulhos)-Lima route from the 30th of October. The Boeing 737-800 and MAX 8, with 186 seats in a single class, would be responsible for these flights.
Now the forecast is to resume the São Paulo (Guarulhos)-Lima route from March 28th. And on the São Paulo (Guarulhos)-Santiago route from March 29th. The new flights are already available for purchase on GOL's website, however, they may undergo further changes in schedules or operations.
