Iran's attack against Israel last Saturday (13) had effects in Brazil. On the weekend, the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) issued a note stating that its aircraft are ready for a possible demand to rescue Brazilians in the Middle East.
In the last months of 2023, the FAB coordinated Operation Returning in Peace, the largest repatriation mission in its history, which brought Brazilians who were in Israel and the Gaza Strip to the country. Using three large aircraft – Airbus KC-30, Embraer KC-390 and Embraer VC-2 – the Air Force rescued more than 1500 people.
With the new escalation of the war in the Middle East, the FAB put its aircraft and crews ready for another possible rescue. Check out the note below Air Force.
