Due to the closure of Salgado Filho airport, in Porto Alegre, TAP Air Portugal decided to migrate the flight previously carried out in Porto Alegre to Florianópolis, Santa Catarina.
With this, the Portuguese operator will start the route between Florianópolis and Lisbon from September, as reported by Portal Abcmais. The flights will take place on the same days as those operated in Porto Alegre, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. To date, 24 flights have been scheduled in the ANAC flight system (SIROS).
In addition to the TAP flight, Florianópolis airport will also have an international flight from the Panamanian Copa Airlines, however, the operation had already been announced even before the flood tragedy in Rio Grande do Sul.
