More than 100 pilots have now qualified for the Gulfstream G700

Gulfstream announced Thursday (26) that more than 100 customer pilots have achieved type rating for the Gulfstream G700 aircraft, nearly six months after the model received FAA type certification.

In addition to them, 80 corporate pilots from the manufacturer and more than 20 instructors from FlightSafety International, the training center where the professionals received the seal of approval, were also qualified for the G700.
“Pilots from around the world are coming to Savannah to obtain their type rating on the G700 as deliveries of the aircraft increase,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream.

The G700 is equipped with the Symmetry Flight Deck, which includes active control sidesticks, touchscreen technology and Phase-of-Flight intelligence designed to reduce pilot workload and flight preparation time.

The cockpit also features the Combined Vision System (CVS), which integrates the Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS) and Synthetic Vision System (SVS) into a single image, displayed on the primary flight display and dual head-up display (HUD), providing greater situational awareness for pilots.

Gulfstream has already achieved type certificate validations for the G700 in nine countries, including the most recent certification from the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority, in addition to certifications from the FAA and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
