High school students from public schools will be able to apply for vacancies and scholarships for two technical courses in aircraft maintenance. The initiative is a partnership between the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), the Social Service for Transportation (SEST), the National Service for Transportation Training (SENAT) and the Ministry of Education (MEC) with the aim of promoting the training of professionals for the air transport sector, in accordance with the National Program for Access to Technical Education and Employment (PRONATEC).
Registrations can be made until October 5th, by electronic form and all the rules are laid out in edict.
Classes will be held in person at the Samambaia unit, in Brasília (DF), starting on November 11, 2024, with vacancies for the technical course in Aeronautical Maintenance in Powerplant Group, which will be held in the morning, from 8 am to 12 pm, and for the technical course in Aeronautical Maintenance in Cell, which will have classes in the evening, from 18:40 pm to 22:40 pm.
The courses will last an estimated 24 months, and scholarships of R$700 will be offered as an incentive for students to remain and complete the courses.
The action is part of Anac's Wings for All program, which focuses on promoting gender equality in aviation, ensuring that at least 50% of vacancies are reserved for women, encouraging female participation in technical areas of aviation. The action also reserves vacancies for students who completed high school in public schools, as well as black, brown, indigenous, quilombola and disabled people.
