LATAM will operate 2,3 additional domestic and international flights in Brazil during the summer high season between December 1, 2024 and January 31, 2025. The increase in flights compared to the same period last year was planned to serve approximately 7,9 million engers that the company expects to transport in the 2024-2025 high season, a volume that will be 8% higher than in the 2032-2024 high season. Rio de Janeiro, Fortaleza, Salvador, Porto Alegre, whose airport will reopen in the last week of October, and Curitiba are the Brazilian destinations that are expected to receive more tourists on LATAM flights during the high season.
LATAM's increases focus on 51,5 domestic departures in São Paulo (Guarulhos and Congonhas airports), Rio de Janeiro (Santos Dumont and Galeão airports), Brasília and Salvador, in addition to 6,4 international departures between Brazil and countries such as Argentina, Chile and Portugal. In total, the company will have 1,7 more flights in Brazil in December and January compared to the volume in October and November.
