Aena renews airline discount program

Aena has renewed its incentive program aimed at developing Brazilian aviation. The project rewards airlines based on the increase in enger flow at 16 airports managed by the concessionaire, covering the states of Pernambuco, Alagoas, Sergipe, Paraíba, Ceará, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso do Sul and Pará. The policy is valid from November 1, 2024 and continues until October 31, 2025.

The goal is to provide better conditions for air transport companies to expand their operations at terminals managed by Aena. “As the largest airport in the country, we work to encourage Brazilian aviation, reducing airline costs and expanding options for engers,” highlights Marcelo Bento, Director of Institutional Relations, Communications and ESG at Aena Brazil.

Since 2021, the concessionaire has maintained incentive programs that have already resulted in more than R$6,2 million in discounts on fares to airlines due to the increase in the number of customers transported. Between January and October of this year alone, the airports managed by Aena in Brazil ed the movement of more than 35,7 million engers, representing a growth of 5,5% compared to the same period in 2023.

Domestic flights: 100% discount on fares for additional engers on each route operated by airlines at 16 airports managed by Aena according to the comparison base period. The exception is Congonhas Airport, which is already operating close to its maximum capacity.

International flights: 100% discount on the average fare corresponding to the number of additional boardings compared to the same period of the previous year.

International cargo operations: 50% discount on the landing fee for additional flights on existing routes and 100% for new cargo routes, both in accordance with the previous season.

In addition to the fare benefits, Aena also offers promotional to participating airlines. New routes will be d through billboards at airports, banners on Aena's website and campaigns on the concessionaire's social media channels.
