The numbers are 5% higher than those recorded in 2024, adding up the 17 airfields managed by the concessionaire. Among the highlights are both traditional carnival destinations and locations focused on leisure and rest during the long weekend, from Friday to Ash Wednesday.

“Carnival is a period that mobilizes the entire country, whether in search of routes linked to the festivities, or in search of quieter areas, where people can enjoy the holiday and relax. Aena airports are ready to serve engers well in both scenarios, contributing to the development of tourism in the regions where it operates”, highlights Marcelo Bento Ribeiro, Director of Institutional Relations, Communication and ESG at Aena Brazil.
It is important to note that the number of seats available takes into the total occupancy of the aircraft and may or may not translate into the number of engers. During the six days of festivities (from Friday to Wednesday), between landings and takeoffs, the 17 airports managed by Aena in Brazil will have a total of 5.109 operations.
