Embraer announced on Tuesday, the 6th, that it had a profit (attributed to shareholders) of R$434 million in the first quarter of 2025 (1Q25). This amount corresponds to an increase of 204,1% compared to the first quarter of 2024 (1Q24). In adjusted , excluding tax and Eve effects, Embraer reported a loss of R$428,5 million in 1Q25. In 1Q24, the adjusted net loss was R$63,5 million.
The company's adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, depreciation, amortization and taxes) grew more than 160% on the same comparative basis, to R$620,6 million. Meanwhile, in Embraer's balance sheet, adjusted EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes) jumped from R$33,8 million in the first quarter of 2024 to R$359,2 million in the first three months of 2025.
Estimates for 2025 reiterated: Commercial Aviation deliveries between 77 and 85 aircraft, and Executive Aviation deliveries between 145 and 155 aircraft. Total company revenue between US$7,0 and US$7,5 billion, adjusted EBIT margin between 7,5% and 8,3% and adjusted free cash flow of US$200 million or greater for the year. The company highlights that the results of the first quarter were not affected by the tariffs imposed by the United States (US).
Embraer closes 1Q25 with an order backlog of US$26,4 billion, suring the previous quarter’s record
Embraer (NYSE: ERJ / B3: EMBR3) recorded an order backlog of US$ 26,4 billion in the first quarter of 2025 – a figure that sures the historical record set in the previous quarter.
The company delivered 30 aircraft in the first quarter of 2025. The result was 20% above that recorded in the
same quarter last year (1Q24), when 25 aircraft were delivered. 1Q25 deliveries correspond to
13% of the midpoint (231 aircraft) of the company's estimate for 2025 (between 222 and 240 jets), considering
Commercial Aviation plus Executive Aviation. Therefore, above the average of the last five years, of 11% for the
period.
In Defense & Security, the order backlog stood at US$4,2 billion in 1Q25. The Air Force
Uruguayan Ministry of Defense (FAU) and the Ministry of National Defense (MDN) of Uruguay converted call options
of 5 A-29 Super Tucano aircraft on firm orders during the period. The conversion is part of a
commitment signed in August 2024, when FAU announced a firm order for 1 aircraft, in addition
of the options that have now been converted. The agreement also includes mission equipment,
integrated logistics and a flight simulator.
The selections of the KC-390 Millennium by Sweden (4) and Slovakia (3), and the A-29 Super Tucano by Portugal
(12) and Panama (4) are not included in the order book, as the contracts are not yet effective.
