The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) sympathizes with the victims and families of the recent tragic events that occurred in Rio Grande do Sul, as a result of heavy rains, and s private operators who show solidarity in providing humanitarian aid to the region.
Operators who do not have authorization to operate air services may assist in the transport of staff and supplies, as long as the operation takes place without compensation and/or remuneration to the air operator.
The operation must take place in accordance with the rules of the Brazilian Civil Aviation Regulation (RBAC) nº 91 and, in the event of transporting sick people, it is recommended to use, as a reference and where appropriate, Supplementary Instruction (IS) nº 135-005.
Aerial operations aimed at humanitarian aid to RS can only be carried out by volunteer operators who coordinate their actions with the Civil Defense of the State of RS, ing them via email [email protected] or by telephone (51 ) 98455-8880 and (51) 98501-6552.
