National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) has just certify new airline to operate in Brazil, Avion Express, which brings an innovation to the market. The company will operate exclusively in providing solutions for commercial aviation, through the ACMI model (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance).
In this type of contract, the company provides aircraft, crew (pilots and flight attendants), maintenance and insurance to a contracting air operator, which is responsible for selling tickets and additional operating costs, such as fuel, airport taxes and air navigation fees. This business model makes it possible to optimize the capacity of airlines, allowing them to temporarily expand their operations during periods of high demand, such as holidays and special events, in addition to ensuring continuity of service in cases of aircraft unavailability.
For engers, the arrival of this new model means more flight and seat options. Companies gain more flexibility and operational capacity, without expanding their own fleet. Thus, ACMI contributes to a more dynamic and efficient sector.
Avion Express' certification reinforces Anac's commitment to the growth and modernization of the Brazilian aviation sector, encouraging innovative models that increase market competitiveness and provide more travel opportunities for engers.
