ATR 72 from Azul will fly from Belo Horizonte to Napoli in Italy

An ATR 72 from Blue Airlines he will soon make a long trip from Belo Horizonte with Italy as his final destination. The aircraft of the Brazilian airline will arrive in the city of Napoli.

The aircraft that will make this extensive trip is the PR-AQB, which was delivered to Azul new from the factory in 2012. The company will send the turboprop for maintenance and will return it to the lessor shortly after.

According to the Simple Flying, Azul urgently sought a maintenance company to overhaul and maintain the ATR 72 ed PR-AQB, due to the lack of slots to service the aircraft in the region.

In place of the PR-AQB, Azul will take back the PR-AKG that was flying in Portugal under the colors of TAP Express. The last CS-DJA flight was ed on the 4th of January from Lisbon (LIS) to Dinard (DNR). Both have the capacity to carry 70 engers.

The PR-AKG was originally received by Brazilian company in 2015, and in the following year it was ed on to the Portuguese company that was renewing the regional fleet with Embraer 190/195 and ATR 72 aircraft, largely leaving Azul.
