Airplane used during World War II will be featured on TV Cultura's ASA program

This Saturday (5/8), the series Wings and Stories highlights the Boeing B-29 Superfortress bomber, used during World War II. With presentation of Claudio Lucchesi, airs for the first time on TV Cultura, at 10h45.

The military plane with four propeller engines was responsible for carrying the atomic bombs for the attack on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, on August 6, 1945. It was also used in the Korean War by the United States Air Force United.
 

About Wings and Stories

A série Wings and Stories depicts the history of aviation from a cultural point of view. Presented by Claudio Lucchesi, a journalist with 30 years of experience in the aerospace segment and author of books on History and Aviation, the program shows in each edition the main airplanes and helicopters that have great technological and historical importance in Brazil and in the world.

With 26 episodes of five minutes each, in a disruptive format that unites robust content with agility, Wings and Stories it will range from aircraft designed by Alberto Santos Dumont, such as the pioneering 14-Bis and the graceful Demoiselle, to the fastest and most technological aircraft of today.

The program is also shown on Sundays, starting at 13pm.
