"São Paulo FC regrets the incident that occurred with the airship leased from Airship do Brasil Indústria e Serviços Aéreos SA. The company had already provided this same service to the Club during the Copa do Brasil final in 2023, without any incidents.
The aircraft was undergoing a test this morning in preparation for the night flight, previously authorized by ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency), which was scheduled for the stadium region. The Club informs that, fortunately, there were no serious injuries and is providing all necessary to the crew and others involved.".
Meet the ADB-3-3

The crashed airship is the ADB-3-3 model operated by Airship do Brasil, and is also the only model approved by ANAC, and is also the first and only one produced in Brazil.
Despite being confused with a balloon, ADB-3-3 is a non-rigid envelope airship (“Blimp”) derived from a North American project (model 138S) that was acquired by Airship do Brasil and transferred to the company in 2018. The aircraft operates with one engine and an envelope of 3.908 m³ (138 cu.ft) and has a seating capacity of six. The ADB-000-3 received ANAC Type Certification only in December 3, after a request started in 2022.
The ADB-3-3 airship is equipped with air navigation equipment and requires communication with air traffic control for its traffic. Airships like the ADB-3-3 are lighter than air because they float in the sky thanks to helium gas. Airship do Brasil has ambitious plans to use the airship to transport cargo in both large cities and unpopulated areas.
