Starting December 3, American Airlines will expand flights from São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) to its hub in Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), bringing the route to up to 10 weekly flights.
The airline will operate a daily flight to DFW with a Boeing 787-9, which seats 285 engers, plus three additional weekly flights on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays with a Boeing 787-8, which seats up to 234 engers.
With these additional frequencies, American will operate up to six daily flights during peak season between São Paulo and three destinations in the United States, including up to two daily flights to DFW, three daily flights to Miami (MIA) and one daily flight to New York (JFK).

From DFW, customers have access to more than 925 daily flights, connecting the airline's largest hub with Asia, the Pacific, Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, Canada and more than 230 destinations.
