For the third consecutive year, the Azul Linhas Aéreas technical team won the title at the American Maintenance Competition (AMC), in the category of best foreign maintenance team. The American Maintenance Competition is an annual aircraft maintenance tournament that takes place in the United States.
The teams compete in events involving routine maintenance work performed on a daily basis in an aircraft maintenance hangar. The airline was represented by two teams formed by AzulTec 1 and Azultec 2, as the people responsible for Azul's maintenance area are called. The Azul team also watched and cheered live from some of Azul's headquarters in Brazil.
The Aerospace Maintenance Competition 2025 took place this year in the city of Atlanta, Georgia, United States, and had 80 participating teams from Schools, Armed Forces, MROs and Airlines.
