An example of these initiatives comes from Azul Cargo Express, Azul's logistics unit. Specialized in transporting all types of cargo – from the most unusual to the most delicate – across the country and around the world, its mission will be to transport items that make all the difference for athletes, coaches, the delegation and all professionals who accompany the Olympic Committee of Brazil (COB).
From today until the end of Brazil's participation in the event, Azul Cargo must transport and deliver around 9 tons of items to the COB to guarantee all physical and emotional and help our athletes fly in competitions. On June 28th, the first shipment – 20 pallets – went to Orly, in the hold of the Airbus A 330, with part of the materials, which should include official uniforms and medical and physiotherapeutic equipment (such as ultrasound and laser devices). ) even cereal bars and lots of plush toys of the Ginga mascot.
