Azul Conecta presents a new business unit and unprecedented charter service at Labace

Azul Connects Plane Caravan Ministry of Tourism
In August, Azul Conecta completes four years of operation as the airline responsible for Azul's regional operations. With a current fleet of 27 Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft, and more than 50 destinations served, it continues to grow and present new solutions to Customers and the sector.

The most recent novelty has just been presented at Labace, the largest Aviation business event in Latin America, and should further expand the range of services offered and revenue generation for the company.

From now on, Customers will be able to purchase shares in an Azul Conecta aircraft through the shared ownership model. The slogan “Buy a Share and Fly a Fleet” translates and summarizes the new business unit. Those interested will be able to fly and have their plane at their disposal, without worrying about hiring and choosing a pilot, the necessary maintenance, renting a hangar, among other bureaucracies – which will be the responsibility of Azul Conecta.

Still involving the charter service, Azul Conecta will be the first airline to offer a charter aircraft with the exchange of points from the Azul Fidelidade program. From September onwards, Customers will be able to use their points to charter a Cessna Grand Caravan.

On the eve of August, which marks Azul Conecta's four-year anniversary, a record made the celebrations even more special: in July, the airline flew 2,8 hours in a single month. Today the Company is the one that uses Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft the most in the world, operating, on average, 65 flights daily.
