A Blue Travel, Azul's tourism operator, recorded a significant growth of 6005% in sales in Campo Grande in 2024, compared to the previous year. This robust performance reflects the operator's focus on expanding its operations and improving the services and products offered to the public, consolidating its presence in the region.
One of the factors that drove this significant increase was the inclusion of dedicated flights to Porto Seguro, a destination highly sought after by Customers. In addition, the hiring of a local sales representative, who provided closer and more personalized service, was essential for this growth. The opening of the first Azul Viagens store in Campo Grande in December 2023 also contributed to the brand's expansion in the region.
The operator transports Customers daily, offering a variety of packages that meet the demands of local travelers and those from other parts of Brazil. Currently, in addition to its own store in the capital, the Tour operator has seen a 48% growth in ed travel agencies compared to 2023 x 2024, all of which are able to issue packages, hotels, tours and all products offered by Azul Viagens. This structure allows Azul Viagens to efficiently serve the growing number of Customers interested in exploring new destinations.
During this year’s peak summer season, the airline will once again implement dedicated flights between Campo Grande and Porto Seguro, Bahia. With weekly flights, the operations have great potential to be even more successful than last year.
Among the best-selling packages by Azul Viagens, destinations such as Porto Seguro, Natal, Maceió, Orlando (USA) and Recife + Porto de Galinhas stand out. These destinations are highly sought after by customers in Campo Grande, highlighting the growing popularity of the operator in the region.
To strengthen its relationship with tourism professionals in Campo Grande, Azul Viagens will hold a roadshow on October 29 at the Dellive Prime Hotel. The purpose of the meeting is to reinforce the offers of dedicated flights, discuss special rates and listen to the needs of the sector. “Initiatives like these demonstrate Azul Viagens’ commitment to strengthening partnerships and collaborating with local agents, further consolidating its position in the market,” concluded the executive.
