Azul is celebrating four years of operations from Petrônio Portella Airport in Teresina, the capital of Piauí. Since the beginning of its activities in September 2010, the company has transported around 4 million engers in just over 41 thousand flights.
Today, Azul's base in the capital of Piauí operates an average of 3 daily flights, which connect Customers to other bases located in Recife (PE), Belo Horizonte (MG) and Campinas (SP), the company's three largest hubs, enabling connections to destinations throughout Brazil.
Those arriving in Teresina have as a view the famous João Isidoro França Cable-Stayed Bridge – designed for the city's 150th anniversary celebrations –, one of the capital's main postcards that connects, over the Poti River, the central and eastern regions.
