The flights will be daily, departing from Confins at 23:30 p.m. and arriving in Sorriso at 00:30 a.m. The return flight will be at 02:15 a.m., arriving in Minas Gerais at 05:15 a.m. The operation will be carried out with the Embraer E2, with capacity for 136 Customers, offering comfort and convenience for those wishing to travel between the two cities.

“This new route represents an important milestone for the development of the region, expanding business and leisure opportunities for Customers, with more connection options from Azul’s second main hub. Previously, to reach more than 50 destinations, two connections were needed. Now, with just one quick connection, it will be possible to access more than 60 domestic and international destinations, such as Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, Florida. This was only possible because of the quality of the airport and the expansion work that is being carried out, which will allow for great expansion possibilities throughout 2025,” highlights Vitor Silva, Azul’s General Manager of Network, Strategic Planning and Alliances.

BH Airport COO Rodrigo Côrtes celebrates the new connection with Mato Grosso. “This route is here to expand our connectivity with the Central-West region, which is so economically important for our country. Sorriso is a leader in the agricultural production sector in Brazil and this route will bring the production chains even closer, strengthen trade relations and boost business and the economy in both connected states,” he says.

Located in the central region of Mato Grosso, the municipality of Sorriso is among the ten largest cities in the State, being recognized as the national capital of agribusiness.

Sales for the new destinations are now available on the Azul website, at the sales center and at partner travel agencies.
