Azul expands its fleet of Airbus A330-200s, which will be used on flights to the United States and Europe

Azul will begin operating the latest aircraft added to its fleet tomorrow (13). The A330-200, with registration PR-AIN, will debut on the company's network on flight AD8702, connecting Campinas to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, at 9:25 am. It may also eventually operate flights to Europe.

The aircraft, which will enter service with Azul's classic livery, has capacity for 255 customers, with 21 seats in Business Class and another 234 in Economy Class. During the flight, customers will have access to the company's regular onboard service for international flights, which includes hot meals and breakfast or afternoon snacks, depending on the flight time.  
Before arriving in Brazil, the latest aircraft to Azul's fleet has already flown in the colors of companies from the United Arab Emirates and . For systemic and operational reasons, the entertainment service on this aircraft will temporarily be provided through the w-IFE connection, in which the Customer has access to content - such as films and series - using their own mobile device to access it. Also in the first quarter of 2025, the individual entertainment system located in the aircraft seats will be in operation.

Customers with trips scheduled on the PR-AIN aircraft will be informed in advance by the company and instructed to content.   

The arrival of the aircraft reinforces the company's growth projection, which has already received three long-range aircraft this year to serve Azul's international network, in addition to two more that should be incorporated by the end of 2024.
