Azul, through Azul Conecta, reached the mark of 15 thousand Customers transported from Porto Alegre for the cities of Canela, Alegrete, Bagé, Santa Cruz do Sul and Santa Rosa, in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul.
Flights are operated by Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft, with capacity for 9 Customers, since August 2021. “Regional aviation is andessential for economic and social development in Rio Grande do Sul and Azul is committed to this. It a conwant relevant for us”, comments Vitor Silva, general manager of Network and Strategic Planning at Azul Linhas Aéreas.
In addition to the cities served by Azul Conecta, Azul's air network in the State includes, in total, 12 destinations, also flying to Porto Alegre, Pelotas, o Fundo, Caxias do Sul, Santa Maria, Uruguaiana and Santo Ângelo.
