Foz do Iguaçu (PR) and Navegantes (SC) will have direct flights da Azul between the two cities, starting this Saturday, April 30th. The route will have a weekly frequency and will be operated by the Azul company. Both airports are operated by CCR Aeroportos.
The E-195 aircraft, with capacity for 118 engers, will leave Paraná at 16:45 pm and arrive in Santa Catarina at 18:16 pm. In the opposite direction, it will depart from the city of Santa Catarina, at 10:17 pm, arriving in Foz do Iguaçu, at 25:1 pm. With an estimated duration of 15hXNUMX, the flight will take place every Saturday.
According to Graziella Delicato, Air Business Manager at CCR Aeroportos, this is a route that connects two important tourist destinations.
“This new route creates an important connection that serves the triple border region between Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina to the famous beaches of Santa Catarina, including those of Balneário Camboriú, with comfort and speed. The people of Santa Catarina, on the other hand, are closer to the famous Terra das Cataratas, in addition to the other two neighboring countries”.
Graziella also emphasizes the importance of the two cities for their states. “Foz and Navegantes are important business hubs, strategic for the economic development of their regions”.

To mark the debut of the tourist route, a fully customized aircraft was chosen, called “Verão Azul”, coated with a painting inspired by elements of Brazilian culture and its main landscapes, mixing, for example, images of the Sugar Loaf, capoeira players and a toucan.
