The modern and newly manufactured Embraer 195-E2 aircraft will be responsible for carrying out the flights, which will initially take place on Saturdays.

The Embraer 195-E2 of Azul Linhas Aéreas are designed with capacity for up to 136 seats (18 more than the current E1), 28 of which are in Espaço Azul – an Azul product that offers extra space – and equipped with Pratt & Whitney GTF engines , which should reduce the cost per seat in operating the new model by up to 25%.

The director-president of the Corumbá Tourism Foundation, Elisângela Sienna da Costa Oliva, recalls that the flight offers the possibility of increasing the number of visitors seeking the Corumba Pantanal. According to her, for this year alone, at least 25 people are expected to visit the region attracted by sport fishing.

The Decola MS Program was created in 2017 by Governor Reinaldo Azambuja and guarantees the reduction of the ICMS rate (Tax on Circulation of Goods and Services) on aviation fuel, facilitating the opening of new commercial flights in the State and the reduction of airline tickets. .
