A BLUE expands its operation in the center-west of Brazil and expands its air network in Goiás, with more direct flights to popular tourist destinations in the Northeast. Counting on the structure of CCR Aeroportos, a company of the CCR Group responsible for Goiânia International Airport, the company now offers regular flights departing from the capital of Goiás to Fortaleza (CE), João Pessoa (PB), Maceió (AL) and Natal (RN).
Pto celebrate the new, the official opening ceremony took place this morning Taj new routes, with representatives from Azul, CCR Aeroportos, the municipality and the State of Goiás.
“The new flights reinforce CCR Aeroportos' commitment to working with airlines to expand the number of routes and destinations operated at the airports recently taken over by the concessionaire. The company's focus is to offer more and more options to its engers. Our bet is that it will be a summer of domestic travel. In this context, Goiânia increases its national relevance by becoming a gateway to the Northeast with Azul's route notes”, says Rodrigo Cortes, Executive Manager of CCR Aeroportos.
The new routes will have a mixed operation with the most modern aircraft in the Azul fleet – Airbus A320neo, for up to 174 Customers, and Embraer E2, with 136 seats. The aircraft offer live TV and free Wi-Fi, in addition to Azul's exclusive in-flight service, with snacks and drinks offered free of charge and at will for all Customers, including the famous little planes, the airplane-shaped gelatin candies – the favorite of those who board the company's flights.
