Azul Linhas Aéreas will expand its flight offer between Campinas (SP) and Rio Verde (GO), in April, to meet Customer demand for one of the main technology and agribusiness fairs in the country, the Tecnoshow, in Goiás.
April 7th to 13nd
Extra flights to Rio Verde, the city that hosts the fair annually, take place from April 7th to 13th. Therefore, from Monday to Friday, flights leave at 13:50 pm from Campinas and are scheduled to arrive at 15:50 pm in Rio Verde. Likewise, the return takes place at 16:25 pm, landing in Viracopos at 18:15 pm. On Saturday and Sunday, aircraft take off at 14pm from Campinas and arrive at Rio Verde airport at 16pm. In the opposite direction, flights take off at 16:35 pm and land at 18:25 pm in Viracopos. Furthermore, flights will be operated by ATR aircraft, with capacity for 70 Customers.
“It is an important event in one of the sectors that generates the most GDP in Brazil. With this high demand forecast, we are increasing our supply to meet this demand. As we have a network with great capillarity, we serve several cities in the Central-West with important agricultural production, helping to expand connections and businesses in these regions”, says Beatriz Barbi, Mesh Planning Manager at Azul.
In summary, there will be a total of 42 flights between Campinas and Rio Verde, including a round trip, during the Tecnoshow. Viracopos Airport, in Campinas, is the main hub of companhia serving more than 60 destinations, including international ones, such as Orlando and Fort Lauderdale, in the United States, Lisbon (Portugal) and Paris ().
