Azul will increase the number of weekly flights between Viracopos and Lisbon

A Blue Airlines is taking advantage of the expansion of the international aviation market to reinforce one more route in its network. Flights between Viracopos (Campinas) and Lisbon will gain three more weekly frequencies from March 02, 2022.

The extra frequencies are already being sold on the company's website, and are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The Airbus A330-200 was designated for these flights.

at the moment the BLUE operates with seven weekly flights (daily operations) between Viracopos and Lisbon. Azul started operations in June 2016 with three weekly operations, carried out with the Airbus A330-200.

Azul points out that the main pillar of this route is connectivity, since Azul's routes throughout Brazil are concentrated in Viracopos and feed the demand for the flight, which also has connectivity with TAP Portugal routes, with more than 80 destinations from Lisbon.

Azul's A330-200 is equipped with 20 XtraBusiness Class seats, arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration. Economy Xtra, which offers more legroom, is configured in 2-4-2 with 122 seats in total. Meanwhile, Economy Class offers the same configuration, with less space, carrying 129 engers.

Existing flights are operated by the Airbus A330-900neo, which has 298 seats in its classes as well.
