Alta Floresta Airport will gain a new route in the first quarter of 2025. Starting in March, s of the Mato Grosso terminal will have access to a new connection from Azul Linhas Aéreas to Viracopos International Airport, located in Campinas (SP).
According to the company's forecast, flights will be offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays on Embraer 195-E2 aircraft, with capacity to transport up to 136 engers. With the increase in operations, the company will now have two destinations, including the route to Cuiabá – Marechal Rondon International Airport, in Várzea Grande (MT). Direct flights to Campinas will increase connectivity between northern Mato Grosso and the Southeast region and, from there, to other national and international destinations.
Scheduled to begin on March 11, flights will depart Campinas at 12:55 p.m. (Brasília time) and land in Alta Floresta at 14:50 p.m. (local time). In the opposite direction, departures from Piloto Osvaldo Marques Dias Airport will take place at 15:35 p.m., with landings scheduled at Viracopos International Airport at 19:30 p.m.
