B-52 bombers return to US after month-long task force mission in England

After a month of task force missions in england, returned USAF B-52H bombers to the US. The BUFFS returned to their home base at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana, on November 8th.

During the mission period the bombers flew over 13 nations and flew over several regions such as the Black Sea.

 General Jeff Harrigian, commander of US Air Forces Europe and Air Forces Africa, said of the deployment: “Bomber Task Force rotations provide us with a long and consistent long-term process. range weapons capability and represent our ability to project air energy around the world. They also provide invaluable training and integration opportunities with our allies and partners in the Black Sea, Baltic and Arctic regions.”

During NATO missions, B-52Hs flew with various aircraft from various air forces.
