Bacacheri Airport conducts emergency training

Bacacheri Airport CCR Airports emergency simulation

On Thursday (24), Bacacheri Airport, which is the 4th largest general aviation airport in the country, held the Simulated Aerodrome Emergency Exercise – ESEA, which is a complex and important practical training that represents, in the most realistic way possible, a serious situation at an aerodrome. The action aims to assess the effectiveness of the established procedures and the resources allocated in the Aerodrome Emergency Plan (PLEM), which works as a “step-by-step” in case of critical situations. In addition, the response of the agencies and organizations that are part of the aforementioned plan, such as SAMU and the Fire Department, was also evaluated.

Carrying out ESEA, in addition to complying with ANAC regulations, is yet another of the many security measures that CCR Aeroportos promotes to always guarantee the highest levels of security and readiness to respond to potential incidents.

For the airport manager, Wilson Rocha Gomes, the simulation allows a series of theoretical and practical training sessions to be carried out. “This is an opportunity for continuous improvement of our emergency response system through integration between the various participants in the airport emergency plan,” explains the manager.

Around 70 people were mobilized to carry out the exercise, including actors, airport istration professionals, health professionals, SAMU, Airfield Firefighters, Military Firefighters from the state of Paraná and the Municipal Guard of Curitiba.
