Aviation XP Bacacheri airport event

On April 17th and 18th, Bacacheri Airport, which is managed by CCR Aeroportos, will host Aviation XP Sul, the biggest general aviation event in southern Brazil. The meeting will bring together a highly qualified audience in the segment, with manufacturers, owners and other market players, to discuss the main topics involving general aviation in the southern region of Brazil, such as: safety, new business opportunities and market expansion, in addition to provide an opportunity for networking and new business between pilots, aircraft owners, managers linked to aviation and companies.

Guests will be welcomed at the Helisul Hangar, inside Bacacheri Airport, where they will be able to enjoy a combination of lectures, round tables, aircraft exhibition and numerous general aviation companies.

The event could not come at a better time, given that general aviation has grown very positively. Second Comparative Air Traffic Report from the Center for

Air Navigation Management (CGNA), a unit subordinate to the Airspace Control Department (DECEA), in 2023, general aviation recorded an average growth of 6,9% in the year, a number that exceeds growth levels in 2019.

For Wilson Rocha Gomes, manager of Bacacheri Airport, the expectation is that in 2024 Aviation XP Sul will be a success, just like its other editions. “This event is of great relevance for everyone involved in general aviation, as it will bring important trends and solutions in the sector, bringing together major players in executive aviation. Last year, there were more than 35 brands participating, 16 aircraft on display, more than 1500 visitors and we hope this year's meeting will be even busier”, says Wilson.

Among the solutions that will be presented is “Aeroease”, a webapp launched by CCR Aeroportos, concessionaire of Bacacheri Airport and 16 other airports across the country. The application speeds up procedures at any of the airports managed by CCR, integrating solutions and processes, in addition to providing an experience close to that offered by traditional applications.
