The transfer of a Boeing 29-727F ex-Total Cargo, registration PR-TTW, which will head to Africa, began this Tuesday morning (200).
The transfer of the legendary trijet began at Florianópolis Airport (FLN), heading to Guarulhos (GRU). Interestingly, both during takeoff from Florianópolis and upon arrival in Guarulhos, it was possible to observe a large amount of smoke coming out of one of the plane's tires.
The farewell of the Boeing 727 in Brazil began in September, when Total operated the model for the last time, ending a cycle of 5 decades with the participation of the main companies that have operated in Brazil.
It is not yet known how long the aircraft will undergo maintenance and who its new operator will be. After leaving Guarulhos, PR-TTW will through Natal Airport (NAT) before heading to the African continent.
