According to The Air Current, Boeing is suspending its 777X test fleet after a routine inspection showed the failure of a crucial part of the engine's mounting structure.
Another similar finding was found on two other active test aircraft.
Two people familiar with the broken propulsion link said the problem was discovered on Boeing's third 777-9 test aircraft, WH003, after completing a five-hour, 31-minute flight on Aug. 18 from Hawaii's Kona Airport.
