The Cargo Terminal team has prepared a special operation to ensure that the roses arrive in the most perfect condition until Valentine's Day, celebrated on June 12th. As soon as the aircraft was unloaded, the flowers were taken directly to the Refrigerated Chambers of the Cargo Terminal, where they must remain stored at a suitable temperature until next week.

The roses, of the most varied colors, came on a flight from Colombia, which landed around 5:30 am on Thursday. Before being released for land transport, the roses undergo a special inspection by MAPA (Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock) technicians. The shipment was imported by four Brazilian companies.

For the commercial director of Viracopos, Marcelo Mota, this type of operation is a great challenge due to the vulnerability and perishability of the cargo, but Viracopos has the necessary infrastructure and expertise to act efficiently, safely and quickly in the most varied types of operations .

“It is no wonder that Viracopos has already received the title of Best Cargo Airport in the World, in its category. The airport team is qualified to handle the most varied types of cargo arriving and leaving Brazil”, added the commercial director
