Bombardier announced today (21) the start of manufacturing of the main structural components of the Global 8000 executive jet in factories located in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
With a predicted range of 8.000 nautical miles and a maximum speed of Mach 0,94 (1.160 km/h), the model will be the business jet with the greatest range and speed on the market, according to the manufacturer, being able to connect cities such as Singapore (SIN) and Los Angeles (LOS) non-stop.
“The manufacturing process for what will be the industry’s fastest business jet, the impressive ultra-long-range Global 8000, has begun,” said David Murray, Executive Vice President, Manufacturing, Bombardier.
The aircraft will have four distinct living areas and a separate area for the crew to rest.
