The flow served between January and December 2024 represents growth of around 3% compared to the previous year, highlighting the importance of the airport for air mobility in the interior of the state of Santa Catarina.

Another highlight of the period was the month of August, which recorded the highest movement of the year, with approximately 59 thousand engers served on the 436 flights operated at the terminal. The volume represents an increase of approximately 14% in relation to the monthly average of departures and arrivals in other months.

To celebrate the new record, engers who boarded and disembarked this Monday (13) took part in an action with a special reception, in addition to the traditional “baptism” of an Azul aircraft, coming from Florianópolis Airport.

According to Filipe Gomes, manager of Chapecó Airport, the increase in enger movement is a direct result of Voe Xap's investments in several operational improvements and in the enterprise's infrastructure. “Since the beginning of the management, Voe Xap has been making important investments, which include the expansion and complete requalification of the terminal, in addition to contributions to operational efficiency. During 2024, we worked on new features that increased flight safety, such as the implementation of two concrete islands in the aircraft apron and the approval of the PAPI, a precision visual aid, at runway 29. With this, we demonstrate to airlines and our s the concessionaire's commitment to promoting the best practices in the sector at our airport, further streamlining movement”, he says.
