Air transport in western Santa Catarina has some good news for the beginning of 2025. Also in the first quarter of the year, Chapecó Airport will gain four new direct frequencies to strategic destinations for the region's connectivity. Among the new features, the airlines Gol and Latam plan to increase connections to Guarulhos International Airport (SP) starting in February and to Florianópolis International Airport (SC) starting in March.
In addition to the increase in flights, Gol has resumed overnight operations at the facility, allowing travelers to disembark in Chapecó late in the evening and board early in the morning. Starting on February 3, flight G31260 will depart from Guarulhos Airport at 22:55 p.m. and land in Chapecó at 00:30 a.m. On the return flight, flight G31261 will depart from Serafim Enoss Bertaso Airport at 06:30 a.m. and land at 8:15 a.m.
GOL WILL START OFFERING FLIGHTS TO FLORIANÓPOLIS
Starting March 31, the company's overnight flights will also be destined for the capital of Santa Catarina, while the operation to Guarulhos will continue on alternate days. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, customers will have flights departing from Chapecó at 06:05 a.m. and landing at Hercílio Luz Airport at 07:20 a.m. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, flights will be destined for Guarulhos Airport (SP) at the same times as between February and March.
engers heading to Florianópolis also have the option of making a quick stopover at Ilha da Magia before taking flights to Congonhas Airport (SP) on the same aircraft that departed from Chapecó. On the return flight, flights depart from Florianópolis at 21:40 p.m. and land in Chapecó at 22:55 p.m.
Finally, starting on March 30, Gol will further strengthen the connection between Chapecó and Guarulhos with new flights. To Filipe Gomes, manager of Chapecó Airport, the new frequencies represent an important milestone for the operation of the enterprise. “The expansion of operations at Serafim Enoss Bertaso Airport reinforces our commitment to connectivity and the development of the western region of Santa Catarina. The new frequencies of Gol and Latam expand the options and bring more flexibility to travelers, serving both those seeking domestic and international connections. We are confident that the routes to Guarulhos and Florianópolis will strategically meet the growing demands, consolidating the role of the terminal as a strategic point of regional and national integration”, he states.
