“This new fleet of aircraft will allow us to expand our offer of international and long-haul routes, always under our low-cost model and its extremely convenient prices. Now, engers can enjoy new and very attractive destinations on the most modern aircraft on the market”, said Holger Paulmann, CEO of SKY.

The new SKY Airline aircraft can carry up to 240 engers on board, and make flights with a range of up to 8700 km. It also allows SKY to expand its medium/long-haul international flights, something that the company currently does not do due to a fleet limitation, mainly composed of A320 model aircraft.

The low-cost Chilean airline arrived in Brazil in November last year and, since then, has been flying regularly from Santiago to Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Since the beginning of November, it has had a seasonal route to Florianópolis and will launch a seasonal route to Salvador in December.

Despite this, the company should not use the A321XLR on flights to Brazil.
