China's commercial fleet will more than double by 2043, says Boeing

According to Commercial Market Perspective (CMO) of Boeing For China by 2024, China's commercial aircraft fleet will more than double by 2043, driven by the expansion and modernization of the aviation industry to meet the growing demand for air enger and cargo transportation.

The CMO predicts that China's commercial fleet will grow at an annual rate of 4,1%, from 4.345 to 9.740 aircraft by 2043. enger traffic will grow 5,9% annually, exceeding the global average of 4,7% . The increase in enger volumes will be driven by the expansion of airline networks, which connect large hubs to smaller cities.

According to the CMO's forecasts for China by 2043, Chinese air transport is expected to become the largest in the world in of traffic flow, leading to the growth of the single-aisle fleet, which will for more than 75% of deliveries.

Also according to forecasts, China is expected to have the largest global fleet of wide-body aircraft, with demand for 1.575 new aircraft of this type, and China's freighter fleet, including both dedicated and converted models, will almost triple, driven by advancement of the e-commerce sector.

A Boeing is a major customer for the Chinese aviation manufacturing industry, with more than 10.000 aircraft flying with parts made in China. The activity of Boeing contributes more than US$1,5 billion per year to the Chinese economy, including suppliers, t ventures, operations, training and investments in research and development.
