Confins Airport has 3 donation collection points for people affected by the rains in Rio Grande do Sul

Three collection points installed at Confins Airport (BH Airport) are already receiving donations destined for the victims of the heavy rains in Rio Grande do Sul. The population living in the cities surrounding the airport, engers and employees who will circulate through the terminal in the coming days and others interested in helping will be able to bring their contributions, which will be transported to the affected cities by the company Azul Linhas Aéreas.

Collection points are close to check-ins 1, from Azul; other next to the information desk at the entrance to the airport lounge and one at the inspection channel, in the domestic departure lounge. Donations received until Friday (10) are: non-perishable food, mineral water, personal hygiene materials, clothes, cat and dog food, blankets, pillows, toys, diapers, underwear and sanitary pads.

Due to air transport restrictions, cleaning products that contain bleach or are corrosive will not be received; flammable products such as 70% alcohol; kitchen oil; gas canister; lamp and candles.

More than 30 thousand engers through the airport every day and more than 6 thousand people work in the terminal. The objective is to raise awareness and encourage these people to show solidarity, in addition to facilitating the contribution of those traveling through the terminal.

According to CEO of BH Airport, Daniel Miranda, airport employees have already been encouraged to participate in the collection and, now, the invitation is extended to the entire population.
