To reach this level of punctuality, one of the strategies was to invest heavily in reports and analysis of dashboards in real time. The results were constantly shared internally, with airline managers, in addition to senior leadership at the National Civil Aviation Agency and the Airspace Control Department. Flight punctuality is one of the most relevant evaluation criteria because it attests to the airport's operational capacity, the quality of the service provided and the efficiency in serving engers and airlines.

Cririum classifies airports into four categories, based on the number of seats offered on departing flights and the range of flights. Global, 25 to 40 million seats, serving at least three regions of the world; Large, 25 to 40 million seats, but do not serve at least three regions; Medium, 15 to 25 million seats; and Small, 5 to 15 million seats.
